Le Burger Week is among us and that means Vancouver eateries will be whipping up some extra special burgers for the occasion.
Kicking off September 1st and going on until the 7th, sink your teeth into some delicious grub with these burger creations from some of Vancouver’s greatest restaurants.
Taco Burger, The Canadian Brewhouse & Grill
Sink your teeth into this taco seasoned beef burger with spicy jalapeño cheese, onions, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, salsa, sour cream and Doritos for that added crunch factor. Served on a fresh brioche bun with your choice of golden fries, rice or side salad. Check them out in Richmond at 1305-4755 McClelland Road.
Chimichurri Burger, Fable Diner
Enjoy this burger featuring two local grass fed beef patties, aged white cheddar, crisp red onions, cucumber, lettuce and chimichurri mayo. Grab a bite at 151 East Broadway in Vancouver.
Pourhouse Burger, Pourhouse
This burger is to die for. It has homemade ground chuck and brisket topped with pork belly, caramelized onion and cheddar (option to add fried egg). Served with French fries with homemade ketchup. Stop by this joint at 162 Water Street in Gastown.
Bagel Burger aka “the BB”, Rosemary Rocksalt
Get your fill of Montreal smoked meat with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, mustard and mayo with a crispy hash brown patty in the middle. Served on your choose of hand rolled, fire baked Montreal style bagel. (Bagel choices: Rosemary Rocksalt, Everything, Poppy Seed, Sesame seed, Plain, Multigrain or Cinnamon). The Dragon Slayer, Bells and Whistles
Feeling hungry? Tackle this beast with two seared Cache Creek organic beef patties, American cheese, HP mayo, deep fried pickles, rosemary bacon and onion rings on their signature milk bun. Find them at 3296 Fraser Street.
Ultimate Kobe Classic, Romer’s
Known for their burgers already, Romer’s will surely hit the spot. The creation features a handcrafted local organic beef patty infused with premium ground Kobe, melted sharp horseradish jack cheddar and sautéed Portobello mushrooms. The fresh-baked Brioche bun is painted with house-made truffle oil aioli and grainy mustard sauce and has crisp micro greens and a sliced tomato. It’s then topped with crispy onion strings for texture and paired with a dish of red wine demi-glace.

The Skirt, Vera’s Burger Shack
Dig into this 6oz fresh pressed burger patty, blackened and topped with a skirt of shredded cheddar cheese, fried onions and bacon, served on a tuxedo bun. They have multiple locations across Vancouver.
L’Hamburger Del Diavolo, The Dunbar Public House
Stop by this eatery and try this fresh hand pressed 100% beef patty served on a brioche bun with Nduja, Parmesan crisps, balsamic glazed onions and a homemade basil aioli. Served with fresh cut fries or salad. Give them a try at 4497 Dunbar Street.
