Cineplex has finally opened doors to the The Rec Room entertainment centre in Downtown Vancouver.
Located at 855 Granville Street, right in the heart of the city’s iconic Granville Street. It spans an impressive 45,000 square feet across three stories.
This marks the second Rec Room in Metro Vancouver, following the successful launch of the first location at The Amazing Brentwood in 2021.

First look at the Rec Room on Granvillle
Main Floor
You’ll enter The Rec Room from Granville Street on the ground floor, which features the spacious main full-service restaurant. This level includes seating for 75 at the bar and accommodates an additional 160 guests in the dining area.
There is also a stage area, designed for live performances and shows.

Top Floor – Arcade
On the top floor, visitors can find over 75 different amusement games. Visitors can explore many state-of-the-art attractions, arcade and classic games. This includes axe throwing, darts, pool tables, air hockey and virtual reality games that are unique to this location.
It also has a small dining area, ‘The Shed’ for a more casual eats. Guests can enjoy more fair-like food, including specialty funnel cakes, poutines, and hand held snacks.

The Palms Bar & Mini Golf
Finally, the basement level of this new Rec Room features one of its most unique spots. The first of its kind in Canada, The Palms is a coastal-inspired bar and mini golf venue. It serves tropical dishes like spiced jackfruit tacos and ahi tuna nachos, paired with creative cocktails such as Clyde’s Habanero Margarita.
