Last summer, New Westminster launched a ferry service connecting the New Westminster Quay to Queensborough.
Now, the Q to Q ferry returns to New Westminster waters, granting locals and visitors a viable travel alternative.
The ferry departs from Westminster Quay under the Inn at the Quay. In addition, it departs in the other direction from Queensborough at the Port Royal Public Dock.

“The 2018 Q to Q pilot ferry project gives us an opportunity to test the viability of providing a regular ferry service between Queensborough and downtown New Westminster,” Mayor Jonathan Cote said in a press release.
“Providing a reliable and frequent connection for commuters, shoppers and those seeking access to transit services, recreational, and cultural opportunities seven days a week is a priority for our growing city.”
The ferry will operate daily from May 19th to October 28th. Specifically, it runs operate Monday to Thursday from 7 AM to 8 PM, Friday from 7 AM to 9 PM, and weekends and statutory holidays from 9 AM to 9 PM.
