Vancouver’s historic dry spell, of the most consecutive days without precipitation ending in November, is coming to an end, as the forecast calls for rain, this long weekend.
Metro Vancouver Weather Forecast
Friday morning and afternoon, we’ll head to work with a mix of sun and clouds, as the first half of the day remains dry.
But by Friday evening, the forecast calls for light rain with partial clouds. Temperatures will remain at about 9 degrees, and we’ll see less than a mm of rain.
By Saturday, we’ll see a lot more, starting at about 1-3 mm in the morning and amping up to 5-10 mm of rain by the afternoon.
The sun will peek out in time for Sunday however. It’ll still be a little wet, but at least we’ll get a brighter day with less than 1 mm.
The forecast calls for higher temperatures, on Sunday, with an average of 12 degrees. And as for Monday, we’ll see grey, but dry skies with 12 degrees celsius.
Things To Do This Weekend
Halloween may be over, but Christmas is already right around the corner. There’s already a few Christmas-y things to do in Metro Vancouver, as well as many other non-Christmas events, for those who need a break from holidays.
And for those who are staying indoors, you might want to take Apple’s new streaming service, Apple TV+, out for a spin and check out its new original shows. (7-Day free trials are available.) Or you could also just stick with Netflix, or catch a great movie in a theatre.
Have a great long weekend, and Remembrance Day, Vancouver!
