The districts within the Fraser Valley have implemented a Leisure Access Program (LAP), which helps low-income residents. The LAP provides access to basic recreation programs and certain services for a reduced cost.

Upon qualifying, the subsidy is loaded on a OneCard – a universal recreation pass – for discounted access to all pools, rinks, and participating fitness and community centres.

Leisure Access Program Benefits
Chilliwack:
- Grade Five Get Active Facilities Pass
This pass is made available to all grade fives, whether they are homeschooled or in public school. The pass provides free admission to public swims, skates and selected drop-in sports.
- Canadian Tire Jumpstart
The charitable program helps kids participate in organized sport and recreation by covering the costs of registration, equipment and/or transportation.
- Kidsport
A program that provides support to children, helping them participate in organized sport.
Langley:
- Preschool and Children’s programs
