The tourism sector of the U.S. has taken a huge hit since the beginning of President Donald Trump’s trade war. Specifically, numbers of Canadian tourists have plummeted, who are especially angry over Trump’s declarations of making Canada the 51st state.
In an effort to bring their northern neighbours over, some U.S. tourism operators are offering deals specifically for Canadians. Organizations like the North Country Chamber of Commerce have set up webpages just for Canadian-specific discounts.

Just for the Canadians, Owner Paul Dame of Bluff Point Golf Resort in Plattsburgh, New York is offering a gift to show that his business cares and appreciates Canadians.
