Vancouver Pet-A-Palooza: Day of the Dog 2026
Pet-A-Palooza is Canada’s biggest dog party, taking over Yaletown on August 23, 2026. You can expect tons of exciting activations this day, including costumes contests, dog races, splash zones, and so much more.
In past years, there have been pancake breakfasts for puppies, pie eating contests, and dog photo booths. There have also been Q&A sessions with vets and haircuts for dogs!
As a fundraiser, the event aims to raise money for Just Love Animals (JLA) Society, a Vancouver Island-based nonprofit canine community that provides rescue rehabilitation for dogs.
