English Bay Beach In The 1930's

English Bay Beach, also known as first beach is located along Beach Ave in Vancouver and is arguably one of the hottest summer spots in the 604. Below is a throwback image of English Bay Beach in the 1930’s which clearly shows it was always the place to be.

You’ll notice English Bay still has the same swimming raft with a large slide. What it doesn’t have anymore is the short pier, similar to the one you can find at White Rock Beach.
