Vancouver’s Main Street has a new destination to entice burger lovers. Downlow Burgers officially opened their doors in The American at 926 Main Street.
It derives from Downlow Chicken Shack on Commercial Drive, where they hosted Burger Mondays for several months. Now you can sink your teeth into the drool-worthy burgers any day of the week.
Their extensive menu has something for everyone.
- Merch (Backyard)
- Americana (the “Big Mac”)
- Veggie or Vegan Burger
- Faux-Pho (Banh Mi)
- Not in Kansas (with BBQ Sauce)
- Fat Boy (known as the Winnipeg classic)
- South of the Border (Tex-Mex-inspired)
Get your burger with your choice of classic fries, chili cheese fries or loaded fries with a smashed beef patty.
Or, step up your side game and get a number of other delicious dishes. They include: pork belly bites, chicken wings, house-smoked onion rings, crispy cauliflower or a wedge salad. Prices start at $12 for a burger and $4 for a side.
See it for yourself; just make sure to bring along your appetite! We’re confident this one will become one of Vancouver’s most sought-after burger joints.
