It’s one of the most secret events of the year, and now Diner En Blanc 2018 has revealed its Vancouver location.
This year’s annual Diner En Blanc will be held at VanDusen Botanical Gardens.
With live music and art installations, as well as plenty of posh cheer, the annual event is celebrating its 7th year in Vancouver. Guests bring their own meal and don their finest white apparel in the lavish, outdoor extravaganza.
In addition, this year marks the popular event’s 30th anniversary – the first gathering was held in Paris in 1988. As such, it will be an extra special affair.

Of course, the dress code is “all white everything,” however, organizers have a couple of suggestions. If you’re wondering if your cream or off-white look is acceptable try looking at the colour of your outfit in natural lighting. Once next to all other guests, these colours can stand out.
What’s more, guests should note that every last detail of their outfit must be completely white. With that in mind, each attendee may be as unique as they like. From Marie Antoinette dresses and wigs to full white body paint, the event sees an array of create ideas.
As always, champagne and/or wine will be available for pre-purchase. Beer and hard liquor are not permitted from the outside.
