Although Metro Vancouver’s newest Costco is still in development, that doesn’t mean the warehouse isn’t already looking for workers. If you’re on the hunt for a job, then you may be able to find it at everyone’s favourite wholesale retailer.
WORKING AT COSTCO
Costco is well-known for being a great place to work. From a strong pay to fantastic benefits, working at the warehouse can be a fantastic way to make some good money. And since these openings pay between $18.50 to $25 per hour, you’ll already be above minimum wage.
Most of Costco’s open positions don’t require any previous experience. Although a high school diploma or GED is preferred for candidates, not having one doesn’t automatically disqualify you from the hiring pool, as well.

NEW WESTMINSTER COSTCO JOBS
As for New Westminster’s Costco– as well as Metro Vancouver’s first Business Centre location– these are the positions that are currently open:
- Cashier Assistant
- Deliver Driver
- Finalizer
- Maintenance Assistant
- Marketing Road Representative
- Meat Assistant
- Member Service Assistant
- Order Picker
- Stocker
As a Business Centre, this Costco won’t have the regular fixings of your standard warehouse. These locations offer more specialized items, as well as catering more toward businesses as opposed to the average consumer. And as previously mentioned, this will be the Lower Mainland’s very first Costco Business Centre. Located at 1085 Tanaka Court, you can find the storefront right next to a Value Village and the Queensborough Landing Outlet Mall.
While there is currently no official opening date for the Business Centre, the fact that Costco is hiring for the location makes it fairly clear that it is potentially coming soon. Some insiders claim that the tentative opening date is in mid November.
If you’re looking to apply for one of the jobs at the New Westminster Costco, you can check out their website here for all openings.
