It’s been a while since the NBA moved from Vancouver, but things aren’t looking much better in Memphis than they did here.
On Thursday night, the Memphis Grizzlies lost by an embarrassing 61 points to the Charlotte Hornets and everyone noticed. That includes the City of Vancouver.

At 8:49 p.m. on Thursday, March 22nd, the city apparently tweeted out “@memgrizz we’re glad you left”.

That tweet was apparently deleted moments after being published, but not before gathering over 400 retweets and 1,637 likes. Fortunately, our friends at Ball Don’t Stop grabbed a screen-shot as seen above.
We can’t but wonder who thought it would be a good idea to rub it in all the way from “the north”.
