
NBA Star Jeremy Lin gave students at Burnaby South high school a warm greeting that they won’t soon forget.
The star appeared in an Instagram video after the boy’s basketball team won the provincial basketball championship for the first time in 39 years. They beat Semiahmoo with a final score of 80-72.
Lin, who plays for the Brooklyn Nets, was spotted shopping in Gastown when the video was recorded on keana Li’s phone; she is a Burnaby South alumni.

After congratulating the youth on their win, the star nodded his head and added, “Way to make history.”
