Goodbye screaming children, and hello arcades for adults! Chuck’s Arcade is here to bring booze to your best childhood memories!

It may have been some time since you last stepped into a Chuck E. Cheese, but you certainly haven’t forgotten the feeling of spending an entire afternoon (and probably evening) collecting all the tickets you can, eating pizza nonstop, and then heading to the prize counter to collect your well-earned winnings.

Well, prepare yourself for some major nostalgia as Chuck E. Cheese is introducing a brand-new arcade concept that comes with all of that, but for grown-up kids.

CHUCK’S ARCADE

Chuck’s Arcade is all about bringing that childhood nostalgia back to your adulthood. Except this time, you’re able to play all the games you want without asking your mom for just ten more minutes.

Add their impressive beer and wine menu to the mix and you’re set for an awesome evening. Hopefully, you like animatronics staring at you while you break some high scores.

David McKillips, Chuck E. Cheese’s CEO, said in a statement that, “Chuck’s Arcade is a natural evolution– an opportunity to extend our arcade legacy into new formats that engage both lifelong fans and a new generation through a curated mix of retro classics and cutting-edge experiences.”

DRINKS, TICKETS, AND GAMES

This new adult-curated concept is meant to cater to both retro nostalgia and modern sensibilities. This means you can expect classic cabinet games like Pac Man and Mortal Kombat, but also modern games. Halo and Jurassic Park are just two of many games that current-day arcade-goers can enjoy.

Some locations even have exclusive merchandise for purchase– think toys and special candy.

Chuck’s Arcade is currently open in 10 malls across the United States. Although they’re not in Canada as of now, the company indicated they plan to roll out the concept in Canada next.

While it may be a while until Chuck’s Arcade ever announces that they’re coming to Metro Vancouver, but that just means you have time to think about all the games you’ll play with a beer in hand.
