Chilliwack Police Need Public’s Help To Find Missing Elgin Frankan MacKinnon

Chilliwack RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find missing 70-year-old Elgin Frankan MacKinnon.

According to police, Mr. MacKinnon was last seen on Monday, March 18th, 2019 riding his bicycle in the 9100-block of Hazel Street. He was reported missing by family members to the RCMP the following day.

Elgin Frankan MacKinnon is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • Height: 175 cm (5’9)
  • Weight: 75 kgs (165 lbs)
  • Hair: Grey
  • Eyes: Brown
  • Wearing a white hat, blue jacket, blue jeans, and brown hiking boots.
  • Riding a silver coloured mountain style bicycle with yellow and black lettering.

Chilliwack RCMP General Investigation Support Team (GIST) continue to pursue all leads in their search for Mr. Mackinnon. Furthermore, they have not dismissed the possibility he has cycled out of the Chilliwack region.

“Police and family remain concerned for the well-being of Mr. MacKinnon who has been without required medication for over a week,” says Corporal Mike Rail spokesperson for the UFVRD.

“We are reaching out for everyone to remain watchful for Mr. MacKinnon or, for Mr. MacKinnon to contact police”.
