If you’re craving some carbs, this is the place to go. The funky Yaletown hotspot is all about their pizzas. And, you can pretty much transform any of their offerings into a breakfast pizza by adding an egg on top.

But they also have a brunch menu dedicated to what they call “benedict pizzas” which is a hybrid of eggs benny and pizza. Get the Smoked Benjamin with two poached eggs, smoked salmon, hollandaise, capers, red onion, dill and cream cheese ($15). Or keep it simple with their Classic Benedict pizza that is made up of two poached eggs, black forest ham, tomato sauce, mozzarella and hollandaise ($15). Stop by 1011 Hamilton Street to grab a slice (and a mimosa).

Start the day off right with this relatively new spot’s Wake N Bacon pizza ($17). It’s made to taste like the classic breakfast dish—bacon and eggs (but in pizza form, so it’s obviously way more awesome). It’s never a bad time for pizza and this dish proves that with thick smoked bacon, leeks, mozza blend and a lazy egg. And just like their name suggests, their food is made from scratch.

This gem is nestled in the quaint Deep Cove, so the next time you’re on the North Shore, hit it up! And maybe get some Honey Doughnuts while you’re at it. Find Scratch Kitchen at 437 North Dollarton Highway.

Scoozis

It’s like a deep-dish deconstructed pizza with breakfast toppings (dreams really do come true). It’s a casserole omelette hybrid with a thin and crispy crust. Their Famous Scoozis Breakfast Pizza has a mixture of scrambled eggs, cheese and spinach with lean ham, fresh tomatoes and mozzarella cheese ($16.95).

Or get the vegetarian option, which has basically all the same items minus the ham and is a dollar less. Give them a shot at 445 Howe Street.

With multiple locations across the city, you can be sure you’re getting your breakfast pizza fix. Their signature Italian-style pizza with a thin and crispy crust is to die for. Add on a sunny side up egg and you’re good to go.

It’s the perfect meal to jumpstart your day and cure your hangover. Check out one of their locations at 800 Pender, 126 Davie, 115 Melville, 885 West Georgia and 101 Robson.
