Happy National Hot Dog Day!

To help you get into spirit, we here at 604 Now put together this list of where to get the best hot dogs in Vancouver.

If you’re reading this after National Hot Dog Day; don’t worry, every single day can, and probably should be, National Hot Dog Day.

Best Hot Dogs in Vancouver

Nat Bailey Stadium

Is there anything better than watching a baseball game with a hot dog in hand? You can even get the stadium favourite—three-foot-long or one-foot-long hot dogs. They also have Bratwurst, Nathan’s Dog, and C’s Ground Roll Double. And brand new this year—hot dog sushi! Catch a game and try their dogs at 4601 Ontario Street.

Get hot dogs with a Japanese twist at this popular Vancouver food cart. Terimayo is one of their best-sellers that is topped off with Teriyaki sauce, mayo and seaweed—for a winning combination. Other options include: Oroshi, Okonomi, Hot & Spicy and Kobe Beef. They have a handful of locations across downtown Vancouver, including 530 Robson Street and 510 Burrard Street.

What’s Up? Hot Dog!

A hot dog joint with vegan options? Sign us up. All dogs are served a la carte so you can customize to your liking. They have Franks, apple sage veggie franks and jumbo veggie dogs. Give them a try at 2481 East Hastings Street.

Sometimes classic is the way to go. Costco’s hot dogs are definitely the best bang for your buck that you’ll be able to find across Vancouver. You can get a dog for only $1.50 (with a soda). It’s a deal that can’t be beat and if you’re not already shopping there—fear not. You don’t need a Costco card to go to the location across from Rogers Arena.

Bells & Whistles

A pub that knows a thing or two about good hot dogs—so much so, they even offer a Happy Hour Hot Dog Menu. They offer a Ballpark Dog (classic: mustard & ketchup), Chili Cheese Dog and a Chicago Dog (relish, pickles, tomato, onion, mustard and celery salt). Stop by 3296 Fraser Street to get your fill.

Nothing beats a BBQ with friends and hot dogs or heading to one of these spots to get your dog with all the fixings.
