Vancouverites sure do love their chickpeas. It’s been less than six months since the original Balila Hummus opened their doors and the eatery is already planning a second location.
The new spot is set to open up shop later this Summer.

Balila Hummus serves up 10 different kinds of the chickpea spread, including: Kale Hummus, Beetroot Hummus, Pesto Hummus, Yam Hummus, Garlic Hummus and Rainbow Hummus (a blend of them all)—just to name a few.
They also have a variety of soups (Lentil & Chickpea) and salads (Tabbouleh & Fattoush) on their menu.
For entrees, they have dishes for both meat-lovers and vegetarians. Choose your favourite option and get it in a bowl or wrap. Their Cauliflower Wrap is to die for.
To celebrate their grand opening the first time around they offered 100,000-grams of free hummus to patrons. In case they do it again for this spot, you should follow them and make sure you’re in the know.
In the mean time, hit up their original location at 47 West Hastings Street to get your fix of all things hummus.
