It’s been almost a quarter-century of Air Canada’s Best New Restaurants list showcasing all the amazingly delicious new spots that have popped up around the country in a year. From coast to coast, this annual ranking maps Canada’s culinary hotspots to uncover what’s upcoming in the foodie world.
Air Canada has now revealed the top 30 contenders for its 2026 Best New Restaurants list, and here are all the Vancouver spots that were highlighted.

Air Canada: 2026 Best New Restaurants
This year, there are a total of four Vancouver restaurant finalists in the top 30. This includes:
- Angela Pastificio, a culinary destination known for intimate dining rooms and handmade pasta.
- Kavita, harnessing the delicious blend of street food and the diverse regional cuisines of India.
- Nui, serving up some of Vancouver’s best gomtang and feel-good Korean food.
- Touk, which draws on Cambodian-Canadian roots to honour the flavours and traditions of chef Chanthy Yen.
The Top 10 Best New Restaurants will be revealed on November 16 in downtown Toronto, bringing together media, food lovers, VIPs, and chefs under one roof to celebrate 2026’s leading dining destinations.
