Vancouver’s NYE fireworks put on an exciting show, but the first Supermoon of 2018 sure gave them a run for their money.
The phenomenon illuminated skies across the lower mainland on January 1 when the moon became full and reached its perigee – the point when it orbits closest to Earth.
