A dashcam captured a rare moment of what seems to be a meteor shooting across the sky.
It happened on Thursday night near Southern B.C. and Western Washington at approximately 9:40pm.

Many people took to social media to report seeing the meteor light up the night sky.
The YouTube clip showing the dashcam footage was taken from Lougheed Highway in Pitt Meadows.
See the video for yourself below. Although it looks like a meteor, It is yet to be officially confirmed.
