The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at UBC presents Noche Flamenca’s Antigona, a fierce fusion of flamenco and Greek tragedy, Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 7pm in the Chan Shun Concert Hall. One of the world’s foremost flamenco companies returns to tell the story of a woman’s fateful quest to honour her late brother. Adapted from the classic play by Sophocles, this stunning multi-media spectacle stars Bessie-award winning dancer Soledad Barrio as the heroine, Antigone.
