Rainbow crosswalks have been popping up in various cities across our province—brightening up the neighbourhoods and showing support for the LGBTQ community.
These are some of the places you can find a rainbow crosswalk in BC.
Vancouver
The rainbow crosswalk in Vancouver became a permanent fixture in 2013. Located on Davie and Bute streets in the West End—it was the first of its kind in Canada.
Maple Ridge
Coming soon! To honour the victims in the Orlando attack, Maple Ridge will be painting their own permanent rainbow crosswalk.
New West

Last year, the city of New West painted their own rainbow crosswalk ahead of Pride festivities. It’s located near Church and Columbia streets.
Nanaimo

Victoria
