Shen Yun is a performing arts group from New York who packs 5,000 years of civilization and Chinese culture onto one stage at a time.

From January 22 – 24, Shen Yun will return to Vancouver to provide unforgettable nights of entertainment, including dancers that defy gravity, accomplished vocal soloists, unique animated backdrops, and a live orchestra that combines Chinese and Western instruments—something new in the world of classical music.

Since 2006, Shen Yun has toured internationally every year, delighting audiences with their portrayal of China’s age-old culture depicted through music and dance. Classical Chinese dance, the centerpiece of Shen Yun’s performances, is an extensive system of dance that requires performers to master intricate leaps, jumps, and spins that share a common ancestry with martial arts.
