A grey whale was spotted near Stanley Park’s third beach earlier this morning at 6:30am.
According to Global News, the whale was swimming solo, and at one point reportedly drifted close to the shore line towards the Siwash Rock.
The Vancouver Aquarium plans to keep an eye on the whale throughout the day, and monitor it from the shore.
