604 Now originally launched in 2011 and since then it’s been an ongoing experiment. Over the years we’ve learned a lot about ourselves and more importantly about you, our readers.
The ever changing world of digital media has been a learning curve to say the least, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Through trial and errors, ups and downs, we’re excited to bring you a whole new era of 604 Now. Welcome to the new 604Now.com.

User experience was on the top of our list so we’ve tossed out everything you weren’t using and narrowed in on areas and content you’ve engaged with the most. This includes events, travel, food, as well as news.
Accessibility
The new platform is a single design, offering a responsive experience across all devices. Stories on your desktop will be the same on your tablet, and the stories on your tablet will be the same on your phones.
Notable Features
City Pages: We’ve gone back to our roots and prioritized easy access to the latest of the above categories to each of their respective cities. Whether you live in Vancouver or Langley, Richmond or Surrey, Burnaby or Coquitlam, there is a new homepage for your respective city. This new structure allows us to cover and present the latest content related to each city in entirely new ways.
Accounts: Our travel and food related articles are designed to make you explore the city and nearby places to visit. To help encourage this, readers can now create accounts which allow you to save content. This ultimately allows you to save places to visit and create bucket-lists of all the things you want to do and eat. Get started right here.
Events Calendar: In addition to events shared by our editors, our events calendar is now fully accessible to the public. This means you can add and promote any upcoming events you or your team is organizing. Just as important, you can now save events you’re interested in attending. Simply create an account to do so, or import it directly into your off-site calendar apps. You can do both by clicking these buttons near the bottom of each event post:
