Vancouver’s First Cat Cafe Opens Dec. 14

Catfe Cat Café Coming To Vancouver

Catfe Cat Café Coming To Vancouver

Cat lovers waiting through what seemed like countless rumours and crowd-funding campaigns can finally mark their calendars for Monday, December 14, the opening day for Vancouver’s very first Cat Cafe.

We recently chatted with Michelle Furbacher, the owner of the “Catfe” who had plans to have the business up and running last month. Regardless of the day, your afternoon plans of cuddling up with a furry feline and a warm beverage will soon become a reality.

The unique business has drawn massive public interest since its campaign launch, and plans to offer cats a comfortable environment to spend quality time with their owners, and other cats nearby. In addition, it will house up to 12 adoptable rescue cats who have been provided a temporary home to roam freely as opposed to being locked up in a cage.

The cafe will be located at 88 West Pender Street in International Village.
