A Pacific frontal system moving across the South Coast today will continue to give southeasterly winds of 60 to 80 km/h to most inner coastal regions. The winds are expected to ease this afternoon as the front moves inland.

In the wake of the front, strong westerly winds up to 70 km/h are expected to develop over Greater Victoria near Juan de Fuca Strait this evening. The winds will ease Wednesday morning.

Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
