Last month some popular CW shows wrapped up filming their current seasons including Legends of Tomorrow (Season 3). ABC’s hit medical drama The Good Doctor starring Freddie Highmore, previously from Vancouver-filmed Bate’s Motel, also wrapped up its first season. USA Network’s Colony wrapped up its third season which moved production to Vancouver from LA.
Now as winter (hopefully) takes a wrap and March leads into Spring, the local television production industry is ramping up. In addition to shows already in the middle of production, there are a number of brand new shows hitting the studios and streets of Vancouver.
There are also some relocated shows and 6 anticipated TV pilots to check out. Plus, Vancouver is hosting the 2018 JUNO Awards which will celebrate music with a special TV event on March 25. The Juno’s are hosted by Burnaby’s own Michael Bublé .
In total, there are at least 23 television shows scheduled for production throughout Hollywood North during March 2018.
