Talk about a close call. Dashcam footage uploaded to Instagram shows a Vancouver driver speeding through a red light, nearly causing a collision.
The driver who captured the footage was directly behind a taxi at a 4-way intersection.
The light turns red, then, after a few moments, green. Just as the taxi ahead starts to move forward, a van bursts through the intersection from the left side of the frame.

Just before the van is seen in the video, a taxi slowly proceeds on the green light, but was able to stop short of colliding with the van.
“Another rush hour crazy person” reads the video caption.
Earlier last week, another video uploaded to Facebook shows a driver in Richmond crossing an intersection on a red light.
Remember to slow down and drive with caution.
