Vancouver is known for a lot of things. With a rich history, beautiful mountain views, and lots and lots of rain, it’s an amazing piece of the West Coast that’s iconic in every way.
And it seems that Tim Hortons Singapore thinks so, too. They’ve just released a ‘Vancouver’ drink that captures the spirit of the city in the only way this classic Canadian coffee shop can.
Tim Hortons Vancouver Drink
Tim Hortons Singapore is currently running a menu that celebrates certain Canadian cities. They’ve chosen three to highlight, of which two are in B.C. One is Vancouver, and the other is Victoria. The third is Montreal.
Montreal’s drink is literally called the “Montreal Latte” with creamy and nutty notes. On the other hand, Victoria drink is instead a Cocoa Cloud Latte as a reimagined tiramisu in a cup. The promotional image makes it look like a fluffy experience, complete with a mascarpone-inspired cloud foam.

As for Vancouver? Being B.C.’s hub for all the major trends, Tim Hortons Singapore chose a Matcha Cloud Latte.
Vancouver Matcha Cloud Latte
Vancouver’s drink is a blend of traditional matcha, smooth espresso, and a sea salt blue pea cloud foam. It’s inspired by the “city’s serene skies and waters”, mixing Vancouver’s natural views with its love for matcha and all things trendy.

Vancouver’s matcha scene is huge, and always growing. With places like cowdog, it’s hard not to see why Tim Hortons Singapore chose matcha as the foundation for their Vancouver-inspired drink.
The promotional Instagram post for the drink got a fair number of comments on it. One user said, “Why Tim’s is good everywhere except for Canada?”. Another commented, “I like how you guys won’t even offer good stuff in Vancouver British Columbia[,] I guess Canadians come last as usual.”
Most of the comments on the other posts were similarly noting how Canada doesn’t have any of these limited drinks. It remains to be seen if these drinks will ever come to Canada’s own cities. But for now, Vancouverites can revel in the fact that two B.C. cities were chosen to represent a Canadian menu.
