Yoga | Free Outdoor Yoga At Kits + Riley Park

The daily free yoga classes are organized by Mat Collective. Not to mention, they will feature 1-3 classes each day with a variety of different levels.

Adventure | FraserFEST 2017

FraserFEST 2017 celebrates our watersheds with a series of river adventures and wild salmon feasts in communities along the Fraser River. The festival runs from Sunday, August 6th – Sunday, August 27th, 2017. Participants learn about the Fraser’s history, culture, the issues threatening its health, solutions for change, as well as how to take action.

The Illumination Night Market, Richmond Night Market, and North Vancouver Shipyards Night Market are all open this weekend. In addition, Fridays on Front, a brand new weekly night market experience in Downtown New West is now open. Fridays on Front will run every Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for eight consecutive weeks on the 600-block of Front Street.

Interactive model | OH! Vancouver 2017

There’s a new interactive installation in Vancouver that allows you to control the colours of the city’s skyline. OH! is a small model of Science World that allows you to control the Vancouver monument. It’s open this Friday, August 11th and Saturday, August 12th, 2017. It’s available to use from 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. each evening.

Concert | 2 Chainz

2 Chainz is coming to the Commodore Ballroom on Friday, August 18th, 2017. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the show begins at 9:30 p.m.The tour marks the release of his new album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music arriving on Friday, June 16th.

Amusement Park | Fair at the PNE

The annual Fair at the PNE kicks off on Saturday, August 19 and will feature many of your favourite activities from previous years. The PNE’s annual summer concert series will return with a star-studded lineup. The first performance takes place on opening day and sees the last show take to the stage on Monday, September 4th, 2017.

Cultural fest | India Live Festival Vancouver 2017

The South Asian Family Association (SAFA) presents India Live 2017 this weekend on Saturday, August 19th, 2017. The annual summer festival takes place on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. It will be held between Georgia and Smithe Street. This event is free for the public and utilizes music, song, dance and visual arts to highlight the intercultural community.

Bargains | Quayside Boardwalk Sale 2017

New Westminster

The 1st annual Community Collective Yard Sale takes place Saturday, August 19th, 2017. From 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., discover vendors along the New West Boardwalk and Quayside Drive – from River Market to Rialto Court.

Pride | New Westminster Pride Street Party 2017

The New Westminster Pride Street Party is taking place this weekend on Saturday, August 19th from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Multiple activities will take over Columbia Street. The day will have numerous stages, a children’s area, booths and vendors, five outdoor extended patios, a Drag Show stage, food trucks and more.

Outdoor festival | Port Moody Car Free Day 2017

Port Moody is hosting it’s first ever Car Free Day event on Sunday, August 20th, 2017. A section of St. Johns street will have a giant celebration taking place from 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. It will feature local businesses and artisans. Furthermore, there will be delicious food, live music, and activities for all ages.
