The South Asian Family Association (SAFA) presents India Live 2017 on Saturday, August 19th, 2017.
The annual summer festival takes place on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. It will be held between Georgia and Smithe Street.
This event is free for the public and utilizes music, song, dance and visual arts to highlight the intercultural community.
Not to mention, the headlining performer this year is Mankirt Aulakh. He will take to the stage at 6:00 p.m.
“We are delighted to invite everyone to come join us for SAFA’s annual celebration of art, culture and history in downtown Vancouver” says SAFA President Jasroop Grewal.
“India Live is always a fun and eventful afternoon for the whole family and this year we will be showcasing cultures from all around the world”.

Decibel Entertainment will be the DJ for this year’s festival.
In addition, there will be a marketplace, a fashion show, and turban tying courtesy of the Sikh Riders of Canada.
