Say hello to Smith’s Bagelry, a dream come true for those who can’t get enough carbs in their life. The Turkish-Canadian fusion bagel shop recently opened its doors on West Broadway and we could not be more excited about it.
Vancouver only has a few dedicated bagel joints, so this is a welcome addition to the city. They have an array of Turkish-style bagels, including: plain, sesame, poppy seed, and sunflower seed. Get it with cream cheese or even as part of a sandwich.
The eatery also has a variety of other delicious pastries. Give their profiteroles, Easter bread or eclairs (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry) a try.
As for more savoury options, they have buns with potato, cheese or olive filling. Their rolls are also a big hit, which are filled with your choice of feta and spinach, potatoes or ground beef.
But let’s be real—you really can’t go wrong with any of their offerings.
