Times are tough in the U.S., which has led to the Rubber Duck Museum packing up its bags and heading up north. We reported on the museum move just last week, and now it’s officially open!

Here’s the first look into the world’s only historical collection dedicated to the humble rubber duck.

Rubber Duck Museum

The Rubber Duck Museum first began with an idea– an experience that would bring visitors back to Point Roberts, Washington after the pandemic. One of the owners– Krystal King– came up with the concept to create a museum dedicated to rubber ducks, and the plan was set into motion.

Since then, owners Krystal and Neil King have offered a museum experience like no other. Their collection has been on display since July 2024 and has delighted families all over America. By late 2025, it was decided that the falling tourism made the U.S. location unsustainable. So, the Kings set out for Canada.

A Look At The Museum

Guests can check out a selection of 40 to 50 curated rubber ducks on display– and they can also purchase one of their available 3,000 to 4,000 ducks for sale. These ducks are from all over the world, and from all sorts of manufacturers. From specialty makers to long-standing brands, there’s a little bath toy for every occasion at the museum.

Take a look at some of the curious ducks that you can see at the brand-new Rubber Duck Museum location.

The museum just had its grand opening on December 1, and welcomed plenty of excitement from its Canadian visitors. Now that it has its new home in Tsawwassen, Metro Vancouverites are just a short drive away from checking out one of the most unique and fun museum that the city has to offer.

You can find the Rubber Duck Museum located at Tsawwassen Mills — Entry 3 – 5000 Canoe Pass Way.
