Vancouver-filmed Riverdale is one of the biggest shows on T.V. and has legions of adoring fans across Metro Vancouver.
KJ Apa, who plays Archie on the hit show, sat down with hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest on their show LIVE with Kelly and Ryan for an interview on Wednesday, October 11th.
He spoke a little bit about things he enjoys about working in Vancouver; however, he didn’t exactly have a glowing review of the ocean-side city.
In fact, the redhead stated that he actually found Vancouver fairly boring.
KJ Apa: Not Vancouver’s Biggest Fan
“When you’re there for a really long time, it can get kind of boring. The city is not the biggest in the world. Everything kind of shuts early as well,” he said.
While others stars have recently raved about Vancouver, such as Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson, the 20-year-old didn’t have much to praise. Kelly Ripa, who also recently praised the city, mentioned that the food was great. The young star agreed with her on that point.
Riverdale is hosting a couple of pop-up diners in Mission and Vancouver this week to celebrate the second season episodes.
