The photo was uploaded to Facebook by Charmaine Chan‎, noting the location, “River Road across from Oval”, and that there was actually a sign on the sidewalk saying “No vehicle on sidewalk.” Clearly, the sign was ineffective, and its existence indicates that this is unfortunately not a rare occurrence.
Now if you think this is bad, wait until you see how another driver decided to park their car at a local grocery store.
