Rainy Days Are Officially Back In The 604

The temperature is dropping, the days are getting shorter and the prospect of more rainy days is more than enough for anyone to miss the sunshine from the summer.

“Rain, rain, go away, come again another day” is what some people are probably thinking about now that we’re getting closer to winter.

But we wouldn’t be Vancouver if we didn’t have all the rain, right?

There’s a divide between people who love the rain, those who openly hate it and those who would rather stay inside and watch, or listen, to it.

Everyone seems to have an opinion on the weather here and there are always pros and cons about the cold, wet, and grey days that usually tag along with the rain.

For example, a pro could be that when it rains you can spend the day, or night, at home with a cup of hot chocolate and watching some Netflix, while being comfortably warm and dry.

Those days can be relaxing.

On the other hand, a con could be how commuting anywhere in this city becomes much more difficult because literally everything is wet, and if you forget your umbrella in a downpour there’s a high chance of you looking like a drowned rat.

Those days can be stressful.

Obviously, everyone has there own personal opinion on rainy days, but we get a lot of them here in the 604, so it’s always a conversation topic.

How do you feel about our rainy Vancouver weather? What do you like to do on rainy days?

Also, don’t forget your umbrella
