Looking for a new spot to get some good grub? Head over to Granville Island. Popina Canteen recently opened up shop in an epic shipping container.
The unique dining concept is the brainchild of the local chefs behind Maenam, Campagnolo, Earls and Kissa Tanto.
The adorable shipping container eatery is right on the waterfront of False Creek; the ultimate location to grab a bite and enjoy the view.
Popina Canteen serves a wicked seafood tray that feeds four people, with a whole lobster, dungeness crab, pink scallops, shrimp ceviche and tuna crudo.
Other popular menu items include a variety of burgers, chicken fried humboldt squid and more.
If you have a sweet tooth, you have to try their specialty cream puffs stuffed with soft serve ice cream, salted caramel and toasted almonds.
