On Sunday, March 22, Vancouver celebrated World Water Day, an international day declared by the United Nations General Assembly to celebrate freshwater resources. Ironically, there isn’t a big fanfare or celebration in Vancouver as we often forget how fortunate we are with our excellent water resources.
But think for a moment if we didn’t have any water for drinking, cleaning, showering etc.
The event was led by 1st nation leaders and other locals supporting the cause and creating awareness. Check out the highlights below:
