The Northern Lights put on a mesmerizing display for some late night star gazers on Wednesday, September 28th.

Visible across the province, the colourful skies were seen extremely vibrant in the North and up in Whistler. They also made appearances during the summer, and the photographs are stunning.

They even put on a rare show across Metro Vancouver, treating late night viewers to an astonishing neon green astral appearance.

The sky lit up the lower mainland as people took to social media to post images of the celestial artistry.

This September’s astral conditions were perfect for the Northern Lights, as the sun produced multiple geomagnetic storms that intensified the colours in our skies.
