Looking for a new, low-cost, phone plan?
Just over a handful of companies have introduced new and cheaper plans. When you look at Canada vs the rest of the world, in terms of phone plans, it’s about time.
As Rogers, Bell and Telus had no choice but to launch cheaper data plans, feel free to look for your best options.
New Phone Plans
Fido is offering a range of $15-30 on prepaid and postpaid plans. That includes 250 MB to 1 G of data a month, depending on the plan you choose.
Virgin Mobile is also offering up some options as they have prepaid and postpaid plans for $28 a month with 1 G of data as well.
Koodo is offering a plan at $30 a month with 1 G of data.

If you prefer to go outside the box and stick with newer companies,Chatr Mobile, Public Mobile and Lucky Mobile are all trying to reel you in with their prices.
None of the plans listed go above $30.
