Costco Canada has just issued a nationwide food recall as the product is believed to potentially contain glass. The wholesaler is asking consumers to follow the next steps in order to receive a full refund.
Costco Canada Recall: Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice
The recall concerns Ajinomoto Foods North America brand Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice due to potential glass contamination. The recall affects products sold all across Canada with best before dates between September 9, 2026 and November 12, 2026.
You can find the Best Before date printed on the side of the box or on individual packages in the following format: YY/MM/DD (Year, Month, Day).
The recall was issued voluntarily by the company “out of an abundance of caution.” The notice goes on to note that there have been no confirmed reports of injuries due to the consumption of the affected product. Moreover, consumers are asked to not consume, serve, use, sell or distribute the product.
