Thunderstorms in Metro Vancouver this Long Weekend
Vancouver’s forecast is predicting a mix of rain and sunshine, so it’s definitely not all doom and gloom this weekend.
Saturday is when you’ll want to lookout for those potential thunderstorms. According to Environment Canada, you’ll see a mix of sun and cloud with 30% of showers in the day, alongside a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon. At night, there will be another 30% of showers early in the evening with a thunderstorm risk.
Sunday will hopefully see the sun. There will be highs of 20 with cloudy periods at night.

Will There Be Thunderstorms Everywhere in the City?
Potentially, yes.
Environment Canada is predicting thunderstorms all throughout Metro Vancouver, which means your neighbourhood could see them on Saturday.
