On Friday afternoon, Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm warning for many areas in the Fraser Valley.

Maple Ridge seemed to be right in the middle of the storm and saw so much hail come down that many had mistaken it for snow.
Dozens of people took to social media to share photos and videos of the extreme Maple Ridge hailstorm.
