Justin Bieber surprised a local minor hockey team in Whistler last week by joining a skrimmage. .

On Thursday, November 23rd, the pop superstar skated out onto the ice and the boys had no idea that he would be joining them.

The singer was in town last year for his Purpose tour, which attracted fans from across Metro Vancouver to Brazil. Apparently, Bieber is in town for some snowboarding, but thought it would be fun to surprise one of the teams in town.

“The Biebs has pretty good hands and knew exactly where to be. He was super humble and a true gentleman. I gained a lot of respect for him as a result. Thank you JB!!!” wrote Rob Palm, father of one of the team’s goalies, on Facebook.

Ok non- beliebers here you go. Welcome to #Whistler @justinbieber

Apparently, the tattooed pop star scored the first goal of the game. He surprised everyone with his skill, because the singer doesn’t have a schedule that allows for a great deal of practice. When he gets the chance, he plays in Los Angeles, where he currently resides.
