Burnaby Mountain

The easy trails leading to Burnaby Mountain run about 7.5-kms and take about 3 hours to complete. The area is a popular spot for its plethora of hiking trails and the stunning views once you reach the top.

Burnaby Lake

While it lacks elevation, the regional park is the perfect spot to go for a leisurely stroll. The entire trail is 10-kms and will take about 2 hours to complete. It loops around the entire park, and Burnaby Lake, which is the largest lake in the Lower Mainland. You’ll also find lots of wildlife here, as it’s a nature reserve.

Deer Lake

Another easy and flat trail that takes you on a scenic 5-km walk to take in the pristine lake and surroundings. It takes about an hour to complete roundtrip and is a great spot to take your four-legged friend for an adventure.

The hiking trail is considered intermediate with an elevation gain of 240-metres. The 3-km trek takes about an hour to complete and is often nicknamed “Burnaby’s Grind.” Hiker’s will climb up over 500 wooden steps to reach the top.

Robert Burnaby Park

The large park not only has an extensive network of trails, but also a swimming pool and tennis courts. If you like “forest bathing” and prefer a nice scenic stroll through the woods, this is the place for you.
