These exclusive screenings will let you see a new release film for only $8.99, but there’s a catch– you won’t know which movie it is until the lights go down!
Monday Surprise Premieres
Monday Surprise Premieres are a brand-new special event that Cineplex will be introducing this November. With a ticket, you’ll be able to see a mystery screening of a recent major release. If you’re a Cineclub member, then you can also use your free monthly ticket toward the event.
This is the ultimate movie experience for film buffs. With Monday Surprise Premieres, you won’t have to spend loads of time trying to decide what movie to see with your buddies. Just get your ticket, snacks, and then sit down for the surprise.

The only clue toward your hidden movie is that it’s a new, unreleased film. There’s absolutely no clues and no spoilers, with the title only being revealed once the lights are dimmed and you’ve got your popcorn ready. Although, the film’s rating will be available on Cineplex.com before the screening, so you don’t have to worry about accidentally bringing the kids along a movie above their age-range.
Cineplex Tickets
As mentioned above, Cineclub members can use their free monthly ticket toward Monday Surprise Premieres. Beside that, the Cineplex tickets are super cheap at just $8.99 when purchased in-theatre. Tickets booked online are subject to a booking fee up to $1.50, and all prices are subject to tax.
Tickets for the first surprise premiere are on sale now and selling super fast. Participating Cineplex locations and showtimes vary, so be sure to check the website to make sure you’re not heading to a movie that’s already booked up.
Monday Surprise Premieres begin on November 10, 2025.
