Heist Nightclub Opens in Yaletown With 4 Nights of Major Headliners

Yaletown is getting a brand-new nightlife venue and it’s opening with four straight nights of headline acts.

Heist officially opens its doors on Thursday, February 19, launching a stacked opening weekend that runs through Sunday. The new 300-capacity venue at 1222 Hamilton Street (the old Bar None spot) has been completely reimagined, blending immersive design, art-forward interiors, and high-energy programming under one roof.

And yes, they’re going big right out of the gate.

Four nights. Four major acts.

Opening night kicks off on Thursday, February 19 with Gene Farris, bringing his signature house sound to the dance floor.

Then on Friday, February 20, Sam Blacky takes over with her globally inspired, genre-blending sets.

Saturday night turns up the volume with Sommer Ray, supported by Eliana, promising one of the most anticipated nights of the weekend.

Finally, Murda Beatz closes out the opening run on Sunday, February 22, delivering a hip-hop-driven finale to the four-night celebration.

In other words, this isn’t a soft launch and something Vancouver isn’t used to but should get used to with The Key Collection behind this venue.

A reinvention of nightclub table service

Beyond the lineup, Heist is positioning itself as something different for Vancouver nightlife.

The venue introduces a cocktail-forward approach to table service. Instead of the usual spirits and soda format, guests can opt for curated presentations featuring custom house-made mixers and rotating features. The experience feels social and flexible, giving groups the option to explore multiple flavours throughout the night.

Meanwhile, the interior draws inspiration from a baroque art museum crossed with an art thieves’ hideout. Expect layered textures, dramatic lighting, unique chandeliers above bottle service tables, and a subtly elevated DJ booth. A Funktion-One sound system anchors the room, ensuring the music hits properly.

Heist will operate Thursday through Sunday, focusing on a celebratory atmosphere that blends music, art, and movement into one communal experience.

If you’ve been waiting for something new in Yaletown, this might be it.
