The Fair at the PNE just unveiled the delectable line-up for their summer 2017 selection and it looks spectacular. Whether you are looking to bite into a savoury classic, try a modern twist on an old favourite, or feel brave enough to try some of their extreme new offerings, (crickets anyone?), this menu has you covered.

Roasted BBQ Cricket Burger
While eating insects may be common across the world, North American audiences are still new to the “bug-du-jour” scene. If you are feeling adventurous and want to pack some extra crunchy protein in your diet, this burger is for you! Just like the name indicates: the chicken burger is covered in BBQ sauce and crickets. There is also a cordon-blue stuffed burger that is deliciously drenched in myriad cheeses and ham on a brioche bun. This handmade burger may be a safer, more cricket free option for those feeling less brave.
DBL Bacon Mac N’ Cheese Super Footlong Hotdog
A fair favourite, this hotdog is a modern take on a classic choice. With the addition of creamy mac n’ cheese and savoury bacon, this choice is sure to bring delight.
Los Hermanos Tacos
Love fresh, perfectly trimmed halibut tacos made with pico de gallo? We thought so. These gluten free favourites are a scrumptious choice.

Cricket Fries
While fries are a classic fair favourite, these ones offer an adventurous new twist. These BBQ favoured cricket fries are not for the faint of heart!
Lamb Burgers with Masala Fries
This delectable burger promises to capture the essence of a whole range of spices and delicious flavours. Yum! Other ethnic offering at the fair this year include Crispy Chicken Feet on a Stick and Jamaican Jerk Chicken Pesto Dumplings.

Deep Fried Pork Belly
Marinated over 24 hours and deep fried, the best cut-of-bacon takes on a crunchiness on the outside with a juicy, delectable inside that makes this dish a fan favourite.
The PNE runs for 15 days starting on August 19th and runs through to September 4th. It is a nonprofit organization that welcomes over 3 million guests a year, and there is a concert every night it is open.
